What you can expect from the teacher, if your child’s class is asked to learn from home:
- Daily learning uploaded to ClassDojo.
- Differentiated activities, when necessary, to ensure that all children can access their learning (phonics groups etc)
- Teacher modelling videos where needed to support learning
- Communication throughout the day with parents and pupils regarding the learning via email
- Comments from school staff on photos of work sent by email
- Support with technical difficulties where we can
- Extra challenges, optional fun or well-being activities provided
What is expected of your child, if their class is asked to learn from home:
- Try to complete the lessons and activities sent each day
- Complete the phonics lesson for the day and practise reading using phonics bug
- Use neat handwriting and best presentation when completing learning tasks
- Practise spellings and mathletics
